HackEire 2010 - Update to Challenge 1 and Instructions

Hi Folks,


Today we will be emailing instructions for HackEire2 to all 'team leads'. If you have any questions, please let us know.


We have received some feedback regarding the first challenge and we don't believe that anyone has fully solved it yet so maybe we need to clarify the challenge so without further delay, the first question on the HE2 challenge is -

Provide the MD5 hash of the hidden file containing the extra information on the HackEire network? 

You CANNOT obtain this file by simply extracting the attachments from the pcap, there are some additional steps required.

HINT:  I have an IDEA that there is something HIDDEN in the attachments!

This question is worth about 8% of the total marks for HE2.
